The towel was thrown in, we didn’t see it.

The magic have been bought into 14 points on 14 shots for too god damn long. Kobe was notoroious for a lot of shots and a lot of points sure, but let me tell you, on the other end that man was also giving his life. The only thing even Fournier gives is Up!! It sucks, the flow of the offense always takes a huge hit once it sees Fournier or vucci and honestly at this point it’s obviously breaking in and stunting the development of some pretty great guys. Why Markelle is getting the most attempts absolutely blows my mind, I’d love for him to go downhill 30 times a game and just see how his decision making changes over time and see how well is able to use that athleticism to keep getting more and more creative. I tell you what though, as someone who enjoys watching the games and dumping all the thoughts out in word afterwords, this season will be the easiest thing ever. I know all I will need and want to do for the rest of the season is going to be bitching and complaining about these chumps. The thing that gets me the most is I really can’t figure out who the actual leader is, especially with JI missing. That gives me a little hope and maybe guys are looking to him, and that would be great for his development.

Sadness x2

The magic are only a good defensive team because they have one of the best defensive players in the league. If JIs absence hasn’t made this obvious enough to everyone, then people are sleeping. The fact the magic today stayed bought in with the group they have and the product that has been on the floor in his absence is absolutely embarrassing. Since JI is out the defense has slacked tremendously and the offense is always so piss poor and relies on tough shots to fall. I just truly have no clue what is going on in Orlando to where we are stuck with such a shit show offense. You don’t have to trade a dollar for a dollar at this point. Being free from some of these burdens like Fournier would have been so nice moving forward, but instead it’s more passes out of bad shots then running back to the man with the ball holding our hands up wanting it back to make yet another incredibly heavy footed looking move. Orlando still has wonderful bright spots for the future, but the leadership including the guys in the front office is absolutely atrocious.

This is what people mean when they say “depressed”

Welp here goes nothing. Honestly if I could just get everyone’s best wishes and gifts of luck my way from here on out it would be so much appreciated. Honestly finishing out the season with the same two leaders we have on this team might kill me, or push me to watching more college. It’s scary times, I need a huge Vucci game tonight I need 35 and 18. Honestly if Fournier wanted to sit the rest of the season, i think a lot of Orlando fans would be more then happy to see what we can’t squeeze out of Ross. I know I preach a slow offense and Fournier helps with that in some aspects, I can’t get offer the defensive black hole he is. I am not sure if the Ennis stuff is real or not at this moment, he will help while Isaac is gone hit once JI is back it’ll be interesting to see how good he looks sitting on the bench for good periods of times to be thrown into weird rotations in blah times.

Waiting on the ship to dock from sea…. hopefully

Welp, I have got the pop corn popped, the grass mowed, dogs fed, and I showered. At this point it’s just me waiting to see if the magic are actually going out and working on getting better from their current state, or seeing if the chips are on the table and this is gonna be the hand that brings us home. It’s heart wrenching at this point, and after not playing mamba to close out the game, it makes you think and it’s not positive because it isn’t the guys that ultimately have the most minutes and most pull. At this point it’s obvious there are only a couple of parts that need to be worked around and it’s really waiting to see if it’s going to be during the season or summer or never. At this point I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s not never the way this front office is ran, but that’s the pessimist in me. There is plenty of time, with plenty of great options still on the table.

Some boys have found safety hopefully before the Nuke

The magic tonight took care of business in a situation where it was for sure needed. At one point tonight while watching the Hornets broadcast they dropped a good bit of knowledge that hurt nice and good about how the last time the magic had won they were in charlottes building. I believe they said it was the 20th of January when that last was. I think one thing that made me very happy about tonight is the fact that Mo should have really solidified himself as being on this roster. This man used 12 minutes he got and cashed them out for a roster spot to grow for a couple seasons in my book. At this point, it’s just waiting ice seeing if the magic are going to do anything at this trade deadline or not. If not there’s no doubt there’s other place to be pushed but over the edge. It’s too the point where things are getting to be such a house fire and the offense is so pitiful at times that all but 3 guys can’t be sent at this point. Although obviously I wish it were more towards some of the leaders of the team, but at this point full season beggars can’t be choosers.

Guess who’s back, just as bad

It’s amazing the magic lose one player and lose every ounce of ability they have to guard. Obviously JI is that man on defense but these performances as of late have been eye opening. It’s embarrassing giving up a ton of points because defense isn’t available, then also going out and not scoring a lot because for some reason getting through a set that allows the different skill sets we posses has actually been something the magic must be banned from for the future. Clifford has the best job in America right now because he can truly do nothing, have it be on display, and this man comes away with no repercussions. I think Cross guards get more immediate feedback and critiques from their higher ups over this jackass.

Big Brain got me Big mad

Oh my peoples let me talk to you for a second. Your boy placed a future on these trailblazers mainly because I think Dame with a good center is something that is going to change his career. Last night is the exact perfect reason why I wanted to place that bet. Once Dames back got to the wall the boss man went for 23 in the 3rd and honestly his game is pure enough a lot of those 23 just came off his own creation. The most amazing thing to come out recently though with this Blazers team is the fact that Gary Trent has been coming out and hooping very well. This man has a bag that is successful off the dribble, at this point, I have nothing left to root for in this league because of the dumpster fire right up I4 from me. I can root for my money at this point, and get to watch a great scorer go out and prove himself more and more each night. With all the great scoring this man has done, it’s amaZing Dame was kept from the all star game this long as well, this man should go and be ready to bust every guy on the courts ass, even those on his team just because this type of game is what’s absolutely perfect for this man.

2021-22 is a bitch for being so far

At this point it’s really safe to say the magic aren’t a good team when it comes to any aspect of basketball. Maybe they are good listeners but that cannot be measured from my couch. Protecting the rim is abysmal, while they offense has slowed a little, the ball movement is still piss poor, and Markelle is the only competent decision maker and that’s not close to 100% let me tell you. At this point with the front offices lack of doing anything what so ever, and the fact the product on the court is objectively getting worse as the year goes in, if you aren’t a magic fan most would call you lucky. At this point especially with Kobe being gone, I’m just ready to pack this season in and enjoy everyone else for how entertaining they can be. Grizzlies and pelicans have to be caught in every game from now on.

The stars fade the quickest.

Yesterday in the NBA was unlike anything I have ever seen before. It was a hard day as someone who is totally removed from the NBA completely other than the fact it is my main source of entertainment in this world. For people my age, The league had Kobe in it each year as a child, and as my memory was getting stronger at a young age, Kobe was only getting better so my strongest memories are only from the best times in his career. Like his 2006 and 2010 years. This man Kobe was the role model for how I lived my life, with confidence, taking shit from no one, and when you were working there wasn’t a person around you who didn’t deserve to hear about it. Kobe didn’t think of a challenge and immediately cower, he went and worked on what he needed to in order to be at the level required to take on the upcoming challenges. These are principles are placed into my life along time ago and can tell you just using a taste of the Mamba mentality has bettered me, and losing someone who was blessed to be born with the mental fortitude and the knowledge that Kobe had just puts a damper on the whole upcoming decade. Kobe had so many plans, so many wonderful things he wanted to do for the world and for basketball. In these times though, much like Kobe always did with people, he taught us another lesson. Work as hard as you can, have as much fun as you can, because you never know what out of blue thing could happen today that puts your life at risk like that. You have to love those around you everyday no matter what you’re going through because at the end of the day, if this one is your last, leaving with positivity and love will be something everyone is glad for down the road.

So with all that being said, thank you, to anyone who had anything to do with an NBA game going on yesterday. As much as I didn’t think it was right for those guys to be out there with how hard it must be, It was entertainment and joy I needed. Those guys who went out there and gave it there all yesterday, when I didn’t even hardly want to leave my bed are heros. I am not sure I could have worked yesterday, and these men went out and gave us a good day of basketball. To that I say thank you gentleman, Kobe made the world a better place and the rest of us can work to fill the void now that he’s been so harshfully taken.

I can hear the music

The Utah Jazz are something that’s incredibly serious. Last night was the perfect example of that with them able to fend of the Dallas onslaught. I mean the Dallas offense was really cooking there for a solid almost 10 minutes there in the middle of the game and honestly if it wasn’t for the front and back end quarters the mavs team would be sitting really pretty. The jazz really stepped up though when it mattered, and when it was crunch time and the plays almost counted for double Don Mitchell wasn’t able to make a mistake. Not to mention the leadership they have in Conley. This man is so good not only with the ball but with with his teammates, this dude is the leader that any team needs and with how headstrong this Jazz team has been I honestly believe that’s pretty obvious. The two solid scorers from the wing is also something that has really made a difference, it’s a lot of pressure when either the guy at the 3 or the 4 can take the ball put it on the floor and go to work downhill, or just really catch it and let that thing fly.
